Coronavirus COVID-19 Update For Our Patients
Your health is our priority so our office is taking the following precautions to prevent the spread of Covid-19 and protect our patients and staff members:
- Waiting room area is no longer open for patients to utilize as a seating space but will be used for signing paperwork in which case only one person will be allowed at a time.
- To aid in social distancing, we ask that you come to your appointments alone.
- Entire dental personal will be wearing personal protection equipment included but not limited to masks, gloves, goggles, facial shields, hair covers, lab gowns, and shoe covers.
- Staff temperatures will be taken several times a day. Staff will also hand sanitize and change gloves consistently throughout the day.
- All personal will maintain safe distancing.
- All air purifiers are equipped with HEPA filters and UV lights and are located in the waiting area and each exam room.
- All equipment is sanitized with UVC light.
- An air fogger will be used in each treatment room as well as all commonly touched rooms and areas after each use and between each patient.
- Rooms have also been equipped with a healthy air system, Dental Aerosol Extractor, to reduce aerosol during treatments.
- Appointments will be scheduled at specific intervals to minimize the number of people in the office.
- A few days prior to your appointment, you will be asked to complete a covid-19 clearance form with ADA & CDC recommended questions. We kindly ask you send the completed and signed form back as soon as possible.
- We ask that you promptly arrive on time to your appointment since that time slot will be dedicated to you and you only.
- We will call you 15 minutes prior to your appointment to ensure you are on your way and will arrive on time.
- When you have arrived downstairs, we ask that you call us so a patient concierge will meet you outside to take your temperature and once again go over the clearance questions.
- The concierge will take you to a hand sanitizing station. Right after, you will be escorted to your treatment room.
- We require all patients and their escorts to wear masks.
- Physical contact is not permitted.
- Special mouth rinse will be provided for patients to use before, during, and after procedures.
- For our younger patients, a form will be sent for parents or guardians to sign.
- We ask you to help respect the office’s new protocol by letting us know if you suspect signs of symptoms of covid-19 to your dental team prior to visiting the office.
