What to Expect If You Decide to Go Ahead With Treatment
If you decide to have porcelain veneers then we will carefully prepare your teeth under local anesthetic. We do need to remove a minimal amount of tooth material from the front surface of your tooth to create the most natural and very best results. Once your teeth are prepared, a detailed impression is taken to send to our dental laboratory as it will take approximately two weeks for your veneers to be handcrafted. During this time we can protect your teeth with temporary veneers until your second appointment. At this point your new veneers can be fitted and permanently cemented in place. How to Look After Your Veneers
Once you have your new veneers they are simple to look after, as you just need to brush and floss them exactly as normal. We do urge you to come and see us for six monthly checks and hygiene appointments as this will help prolong the natural life of your veneers. With the proper dental care you will be able to enjoy your stunning new smile for longer.
