Intraoral Camera
Mounted on the end of a pen-shaped instrument, the tiny intraoral camera can be used to provide detailed imaging of the teeth and gums. Digital images are captured instantly and sent to a TV screen mounted above each treatment chair, where patient and dentist can view them together.
Intraoral cameras deliver high-quality images that can help patients learn about problem areas and better understand their treatment, which increases their comfort before and during a procedure. Panoramic X-Rays
The jaw is a curved structure similar to that of a horseshoe. However, the panoramic x-ray produces a flat image of the curved structure. It is typically set to provide details of the bones and teeth.
Panoramic radiography, also called panoramic x-ray, is a dental x-ray examination that captures the entire mouth in a single image, including the teeth, upper and lower jaws, surrounding structures and tissues.

CEPH is most often used by orthodontists to diagnose problems with your jaw and bite that might improve with orthodontic tools such as dental braces. This type of dental X-ray also allows the dentist to measure irregularities in your facial profile.
